[Wise](https://wise.com/) (formerly TransferWise) is a regulated international money transmitter in 175 countries and 50 currencies. It is known for its relatively cheap fees for transferring money between countries and currencies. Chargebacks remain a risk, but are likely uncommon. Can recipients see your account details?
If you send money with Wise, the recipient can not see your account details. In fact, this privacy flows both ways - there are also ways you can send money to someone without needing them to share their bank details with you.
That can be easier and it means no sensitive data is shared as well.

just this phone contact
- If your recipient has a Wise account they can also mark an account as their primary account to receive payments, which means you can
send with just an email address
- If your recipient doesnt have a Wise account you can still send with just their email - Wise will reach out and ask for their
banking information through a secure link
